Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today Part 3
Rev. Cynthia Cochran-Carney, Willow Grove Presbyterian Church, Scotch Plains, New Jersey
As we continue our journey through the book of Revelation, we come to chapters 4 and 5. Up until now this letter has focused on realities of seven churches, seven communities of early Christians whom John is addressing as theologian, poet and pastor. Elder Maryjane Finne, guest preacher, Willow Grove Presbyterian Church, Scotch Plains, New Jersey
Sometimes we are called upon to give an account of what we believe, often to those who are either skeptical or just plain unaware of the significance of Jesus Christ for their own lives. Matthew’s story of the magi, which introduces his gospel, is a gospel in miniature, that we can share.
