Sunday Morning Worship

All children in invited to sit with their families in the worship and participate in the beginning of the service as the sing, pray and experience God's presence in worship.  Then Pastor Cynthia invites them forward to children's sermon about a Bible story or life question.  Even adults find they learn something from the children's message!  Then children and young may leave for their classes.

Sunday Morning Classes for Children

Discovery Kingdom (Age 4 - 1^st grade)

For our sixth year we offer an innovative Sunday School curriculum called "Discovery Kingdom." This class leads children to the discover the meaning of Christian faith through a rotation model, using multi-media resources such as computers, music, science, puppets, drama, arts & crafts, food, puzzles, games and videos.  The same Bible story is the theme for four weeks.  The program is based upon the Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM), an approach to Christian education that blends all the ways in which children learn: hearing, seeing, touching, moving, and creating - Something for Everyone.  September will focus on the story of Noah and the Ark taught each week through a different mode.

Bible Kingdom - Live B.I.G. (2^nd - 6^th grade)

For these children, we look forward to a new program, Live B.I.G.  The focus for September is "In the beginning God created." (Genesis 1:1, CEV) The creativity and imagination as participants experience the biblical story in Live B.I.G. has ignited other Sunday schools!

Summer Fun in the Son (FITS)

During the summer months, children of all ages are invited to enjoy fun activities related to Bible stories.  As usual, children start in worship and then may leave after the children's message.

Willow Grove Preschool

Family Fun Nights and Special Family Events

Willow Grove invites the congregation and community to come together for events throughout the year to encourage families to spend relaxing time together creating, learning and having fun.  These events include
