Every other month on the second Saturday morning we sort food at the regional Community Food Bank of New Jersey warehouse in Hillside. This is a new partnership for service with Rev. Jeffrey Cochran-Carney’s church, Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Berkeley Heights. Meet at Willow Grove Parking lot at 8:30 am to carpool. Upcoming dates: March 14, May 9. Work 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Community Food Bank is located at 31 Evans Terminal, Hillside. For more information see their website www.njfoodbank.org

Sunday Mornings

 

 

10:00 am Worship Service for all ages with Nursery Care, and pew activity materials for young children; Sunday School for children and youth begins after the message for young disciples.
Next SundaySept. 5 - Come this Sunday for informal worship in air conditioned Alexander Hall - a time to slow down, hear inspiring music and be renewed for the week.   Pastor Cynthia Cochran-Carney will conclude her summer sermon series on Moses and the book of Exodus.  Her sermon will be "Raiders of the Lost Ark."  Come learn more about the story of the ark or sacred box that held the tablets of the Ten Commandments.  If the Hebrew people believed God's presence was with them in the ark of the covenant, how do we experience God's presence with us today? The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated.  All are invited to participate.
