Porter Jr, formally the highly esteemed Pastor for 49 yrs of the St. John's Baptist Church in Scotch Plains NJ.   Pastor Johnson education includes:

Michigan State University, East Lansing MI.  Philadelphia Biblical University School of Life Long Learning, Langhorn PA. Correspondences Courses in Christian Ministries, Princeton Theological Seminary.  National Baptist Convention USA "Pastor's Alternative Teaching Certification"  Sunday School Board. Adjunct Seminary Professor, Northern Baptist School of Religion under Dr Leroy Jefferson. Off-sight Location:  Mount Olivet Baptist Church Newark, NJ. Former Pastor of:

Friendship Baptist Church, Asbury Park NJ & Greater Friendship Baptist Church, Newark, NJ.  Current Member of the Scotch Plains Fanwood Clergy & Town Leadership Ministrium. Pastor Johnson is married to Sonia Johnson along with children Stefon and Jasmine.
